MOORE HOUSE AND CABIN
Lonely valley with a small log cabin furnished with period objects, ideal for a small historical stop.
Here we will relive the early days of pioneer settlement in this lonely valley. Captain William Moore Cabin, the small log cabin, is the oldest building in the town of Skagway. Captain William Moore and his sons built it in 1887 and 1888. Right next door is the Victorian J. Bernard Moore House is furnished with period furnishings. The site is part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. A small historic stop that is well worth the detour, to remember the glory days of the Gold Rush.
