SKAGWAY MUSEUM
Interesting museum preserving the heritage of the city and presenting a collection of objects of the period and many artifacts.
In one of the most beautiful buildings in the city of Skagway, the museum displays a collection of objects relating to the Klondike Gold Rush and its associated heyday. You will find many artifacts, newspaper excerpts and even a few photographs relating to First Nations, gold diggers, etc. A very interesting museum for history and art enthusiasts and for those who are curious about the city. The museum, established in 1961, has as its main goal to preserve and pass on the heritage of the town of Skagway to future generations.
