Ghost town with a few remains of buildings, an old cemetery and a shadow of a building in a forest.
The ghost town of Dyea was once a stopover for gold diggers at the foot of the Chilkoot Trail at the junction with the Taiya River. There are a few remains of buildings, an old cemetery of the time and the shadow of a building in a forest that has regained its rights. The town was abandoned when the railway was built to go directly to Skagway with a deeper water port. Today, Dyea and its campground are part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.
