Historic building in downtown Sitka offering a very interesting free tour with guides.

A visit to downtown Sitka allows you to discover some important historical monuments such as Bishop House, which is the oldest example of Russian architecture in Alaska since the destruction of St. Michael's Cathedral in 1966. Built in 1842, it is a fine example of early Russian colonial splendor. The visit of this historic building is free and very interesting if you are passing through the city. Guides are there to answer your questions on site. Not to be missed by history buffs!
