TOTEM SQUARE
Totem Square on the west side of Lincoln Street has the remains of a totem pole, the emblem of the city of Sitka.
Located in downtown Sitka, at the west end of Lincoln Street and Katlian Street, Totem Square features the remains of ancient explorers and settlers. Here you will see a Russian cannon and three marine anchors recovered in the vicinity of the town of Sitka, probably lost by early British or American explorers. These remains are located right next to a totem pole showing the two-headed eagle from Sitka's Russian heritage. It is the emblem of the city of Sitka!
