One of the few attractions in the city built with oil money in Barrow
This is one of the few cultural attractions in the city, and even in the region, built with oil money. This museum traces the history of the Eskimos of the Chukchi Sea and more broadly of Bering. Eskimo art is represented through ivory carvings, clothing and objects of daily life. One can also attend dance and percussion shows or the making of sealskin boots during animated workshops.
