Crossing the Bay with the Chemins de la Baie team is quite an experience! It’s an unforgettable experience, and one you’ll enjoy in complete safety, while listening to local explanations and stories. There’s a wide choice of crossings to suit all tastes, from short strolls to long crossings. We offer crossings in English, as well as unusual crossings, such as "De la Baie à l’Abbaye", combining the discovery of the bay with a visit to the monument!

To help you discover this exceptional site, the scene of the highest tides in Europe, Chemins de la Baie du Mont Saint Michel organizes throughout the year walking across the shores, hikes, nature outings and discovery of the heritage of the Bay of Mont Saint Michel in the company of experienced guides recognized by the State for their skills.

An essential complement to the visit of the Mont Saint-Michel, the crossing of the bay brings another glance on the history of "The Wonder" and allows to put the monument in its immediate environment. In the past, it was said that the Mont Saint Michel was at the risk of the sea.
The diversity of the walks, hikes and nature outings proposed by Chemins de la Baie du Mont Saint Michel allows everyone, depending on their age and physical abilities, to find a formula to suit them
With friendliness and passion, each guide will be able to guide you through the quicksand and share with you his knowledge of the history, heritage, fauna, flora and history of the people of the Mont Saint Michel Bay Area.
In addition to the crossings which constitute its main activity, Chemins de la Baie organizes guided hikes on the coast or inland, nature outings for all publics.
Information and reservation: from April to October from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday, on weekends from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. From November to March from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
