This is the old hotel that was used to welcome foreign dignitaries during the end of the communist period. It is 15 storeys high and offers a beautiful view of the city. Opened in 1979, and recently renovated, it suffers however from an outdated design: tiny bathrooms, narrow elevators, sound insulation problems. But its location and regular promotional offers make it an interesting establishment. Suitable restaurant, many services.
