Brutalist-style building from 1986 on boulevard des Martyrs-de-la-Nation. Concert halls, exhibitions and festivals.
Inaugurated in 1986, this building (Pallati i Kongreseve) stands at the top of Boulevard des Martyrs-de-la-Nation. Constructed in rough concrete in the Brutalist style, it stretches 70 m across the façade and 23 m in height, with a circular roof 54 m in diameter. Equipped with four halls, the largest of which has a capacity of 2,100, it was used for Labour Party meetings and now hosts cultural events such as the Salon du livre (in November) and the Festivali I Këngës (a major radio talent show held in the spring).
