This small private museum (Muzeu i Gruas) was created in 2018 by Elsa Ballauri, born in Korça in 1959, journalist, collector and human rights activist. Housed in a 100m2 apartment from the 1960s, it focuses on the history of women in Albania through documents, furniture, clothing and photographs. In particular, it looks back at the place of women under the Communist regime, evoking both the victims of the regime (20% were women) and the great impetus for women's emancipation during this period.
