HOTELI I GJUETISË
Former "hunting lodge" of Count Ciano, Mussolini's son-in-law and minister. Today, it's a beautiful hotel with swimming pool.
Located at the entrance to the Kunë-Vain-Tale nature reserve, this former hunting lodge is steeped in history. It was built in 1939 for Count Ciano, Mussolini's son-in-law and minister, and became an important meeting place during the Communist era. Kadaré also used it as the setting for his novel Le Chevalier au faucon (1986). Renovated and enlarged in 2019, it is now a beautiful hotel with outdoor swimming pool, garden, bungalows, upscale restaurant and spacious, well-appointed rooms (good bathrooms, storage space, WiFi...).
