Sea turtle research and first aid center founded to help the country's four species.
The Sea Turtle Research and First Aid Center (Qendra per Studimin dhe Ndihmen e Pare per Breshkat Detare) is located in the Patok Lagoon. It was founded in 2016 by the Albanian Herpetological Society, specializing in the study of amphibians and reptiles. It helps the four species of marine turtles in the country: green turtle, leatherback turtle, hawksbill turtle and loggerhead turtle. On the spot, small exhibition and possibility of night visit of the laying places.
