MUSÉE DES MARTYRS
It's not a "museum", but a memorial to World War II resistance fighters and victims of the Nazi camps.
This "museum" (Muzeu i Dëshmorëve) is a memorial to the resisters of the Second World War and the victims of the Nazi camps. It is a complex designed in 1947 by Kristo Sotiri (1870-1953) and completed in 1976. It includes a park, a grand staircase, a mosaic depicting the liberation of Durrës (November 14, 1944), then a semicircular concrete building bearing the inscription "Glory to the martyrs. This one houses the mortuary niches of partisans, a plaque in honor of the deportees of the camp of Mauthausen (Austria) and a bronze bust of a partisan.
