A museum designed by Léon Rey, now housing three exhibitions on ethnology, contemporary history and archaeology.
This museum (Muzeu Historik Fier) was conceived in 1939 by the French archaeologist Leon Rey (1887-1954), author of the first excavations of the site of Apollonia of Illyria. But it was not born until 1947 to be installed in an austere building of the communist period in 1978. Today it houses three exhibitions: ethnology, contemporary history and archaeology. One discovers there in particular amphoras and pithos, a mask of actor and various objects coming from Apollonia as well as some capitals and statues of several sites of which Byllis, near Ballsh.
