ZIPLINE ALBANIA
A 1,230 m-long zipline in Elbasan linking Petrela to the hamlet of Mullet, lasting around 1.15 minutes.
This zip line(zipline in English and Albanian) was created in 2021. It connects Petrela to the hamlet of Mullet with a 1,230 m long cable that passes over the river Erzen. From the starting point (260 m above sea level) to the end point (150 m), the descent takes about 1.15 minutes. It is done at 50-60 km/h with a gondola and a helmet. Rather nice, but contrary to what is announced, it is not "the longest zip line in the Balkans". At least ten others are longer in the peninsula, including that of Krk in Croatia (2 400 m).
