This restaurant is an institution. In particular, we prepare the koke koke, the traditional breakfast: a soup of intestines to order with white rice. To taste also, the role gici e mbushu, grilled pork and base. Recently refreshed, the establishment has preserved its original appearance, so ambience (industrial lamps, plywood, pastel tones), that the whole seems to have been inspired by an ultra-trend Scandinavian design magazine.

Nous avons passé une excellente soirée sur la terrasse du Mapo qui donne sur la place principale de Gjirokastra. Le menu est long et appétissant et le prix modique des plats permet de goûter les spécialités (en partageant pour garder la ligne comme les Albanais !). Goûter l'agneau braisé à toutes les sauces et les poivrons et aubergines farcis.
