COUPIDON (КУПIДОН)

Hidden in a basement on Pushkinska Street, this café is the last bastion of Ukrainian intellectuals. Certainly, it is a quite unique place in Kiev. It recalls a knaypa (pub) from Western Ukraine, with original and simple interiors at the same time. You can eat soups and dishes from Ukrainian cuisine and there is also a small bookstore where books in Ukrainian are sold. Live music concerts and literary evenings are held regularly. To try, to drink a tea, a beer or to eat something in a bohemian and Ukrainian atmosphere.
