The monastery is known mainly for the caves of Saint-Antoine (Антонієві печери), a series of tunnels and chapels dug in the side of the hill in which the first monks of, lived. These caves, inhabited and built from the beginning of the th century, are larger than those in Kiev. By entering, a cold of gouffre bears witness to the depth of caves. In the first room you can find the chapel of Saint-Antoine, which has a dome at 8 m high, so 8 m deep. Monacales cells are also visible, including that of the saint that he occupied from 1069 to 1072. The long corridors (80 m in total) are deeply immersed in the earth and rock, and are intertwined to form a kind of underground labyrinth. Echoing the example of Kiev, the remains of the first monks were left in caves. But the special conditions that allowed the monks of Kiev's laure to be mummification were not gathered in, and the bones of some of the monks can be seen there. Located at the entrance of the caves, the church Illinska (Іллінська церква) dates back to the end of the 1774 th century and presents a Iconostasis dating back to in baroque style. The steeple, at the entrance to the monastery on the left, offers its summit a beautiful panorama of the city and the church of the 10 th century Trinity (open from 19 am to 30 pm, 5 UAH). By leaving the caves and a little on the right, you can discover a scythe scythe and contemplate a beautiful panorama overlooking the valley of Desna. Down the hill we come to a recent monument: a set to the glory of the soldiers, which symbolizes the defence of the homeland. Among the four characters represented, one can distinguish from left to right: a woman who represents the people of the back, a Soviet soldier from the Second World War, a soldier from the time of Prémongole, the time of Prince Igor. They all have their left hand on the sword, as a sign of defence of the homeland. You can reach the monastery by foot, from Dytynets this is a 3 km walk, or take trolleybus No. 8.
