Located 2 km west of the city centre, the station dates back to 1861. There are trains to Kiev (6:30 am for the express, 9 am for most trains), Ternopil (2:30 am), Ivano-Frankivsk (3 am), Chernivtsi (4 am), Uzhgorod (6 am), as well as to the southern and eastern cities, Odessa (10 am), Dnipro (18 pm). There are also trains to Moscow (24h) and Minsk (14h), be careful with visas for these countries. Tickets are very economical.
To get to the station, take trams 1, 9 and 10 which stop on Ploscha Rynok. For the taxi, negotiate the price beforehand (around 50 UAH - 1.60 €).
