GARE ROUTIÈRE (АВТОВОКЗАЛ " ЛЬВIВ ")

This is the city's main station. It serves the major cities of the country and abroad.

For international connections it takes 8 hours for Warsaw and 6 hours for Krakow. For domestic connections, Kiev is 9 hours by bus, Ivano-Frankivsk 3 hours, Ternopil 2 hours 15 minutes, Uzhgorod 4 hours 30 minutes, Chernivtsi 8 hours, Odessa 4 hours, Kamyanets-Podilsky 8 hours. Prices are very low, but Ukrainian roads do not provide the best comfort.

To get to the city centre from the station, or vice versa, take trolleybus No. 5 or minibus (marchroutka) No. 71. Bus No. 18 connects the bus station to the train station.

Lviv also has other bus stations. Station No. 2 (Khlemnytskoho Street ✆ +380 322 52 04 89) serves Zhovkva, Brody, Olesko, Zolochiv. From station n°8 (Dvirtseva pl., 1 ✆ +380 322 35 33 33 60), in front of the train station, buses leave for Trouskavets and also Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhgorod, Kiev and Odessa
