SALO (САЛО)

It is difficult to imagine Ukraine without bacon. Recently opened, Salo, which precisely means «bacon», is a postmodern tribute to this product that is much loved by Ukrainians. We come here not only to listen to good music and drink a glass. Salo is a complex space, a museum dedicated to au (40 UAH visits with audioguide, tasting of bacon and horilka), a rich cultural centre, and also a restaurant where you taste a cuisine as conceptual as the place. The dishes offered are real works of art, sculptures in… bacon cubes, with different jokes. Salo also houses regular exhibitions of contemporary Ukrainian artists. A try absolutely!
