HOTEL KYIV (ГОТЕЛЬ КИЇВ)

The hotel is located in the town centre, in one of the main streets. The reception, neutral staff to see unpleasant limit. Entry and very dark lobby. Hotel " the old temps" it is huge, corridors (rebuilt) are very high and long; the rooms are fairly large. This hotel was repair relating to some rooms when I passed (October 2009), and given the little spirit of staff it should always be in this state... However offers renovated rooms, a beautiful look (especially mouldings and false ceiling). Two separate beds in the room, a TV, work desk, the view overlooking the street (in my case; there is also an inner courtyard) with a window not lets draughts but the automobile traffic noise...

Amazing thing, blankets blankets and pillows (clean, cleaned) are placed on the bed, it is you... and when you take note that the cover of bed... is too small for the cover, button this cover! The shower room is separated from the room.

Side hygiene, rather BOF... I notice hair on the carpet room in the shower, do similar, the gate of the siphon drain water was cleaned succintement... you can see saletées inside... rest is decent. Be careful when you leave the hotel, you can check that you leave the room in good condition. Have breakfast in foot in an adjoining bar; given the dark, we preferred eat in a small pizzeria- tea room just opposite the hotel, very busy but rather nice (small not bad cakes into small déj, however horrible pizza...... no taste).

Good point: location in the city centre.

Negative point: the price of this hotel is not worth quality inside, large efforts to concerning the cleaning. Concerning the cleaning ladies, it is apparently too hard for it once greet you when you cross them on three and...

Result: ideal for staying 2 nights, not more!
