In 1820, the famous doctor Fyodor Karlovich Milgauzen, also meteorologist and botanist, built this house in what was at the time the brand new capital of the Crimea. Milgauzen entered the Medical Institute of St. Petersburg at the age of 14 and went out to 22 years and began practicing medicine. In 1820 he moved to Crimea to heal his fragile health. It's the biggest Decker or Joukovsky, and most of the inhabitants of Simferopol. In addition to his work as a doctor, he was hired as meteorologist. It is the origin of the first Crimean weather Station.
