BOULEVARD PRIMORSKI (ПРИМОРСКИЙ ПРИМОРСКИЙ)
This walk is the city's visiting card. It starts at the port Grafskaia (графская пристань), the official "door" of the city with its white colonnade. Here several boats offer excursions of half an hour in the bay. The square behind the colonnade is dominated by the monument to Admiral Nakhimov who was at the head of the city's defence during the Crimean War. In addition, the column «vessels sunk at peak» (колонна зотопленных кораблей) is found, erected in memory of Russian warships of the Crimean War, cast explicitly to prevent enemies from approaching the port. The boulevard ends in the Artillery Bay (Артбухта), place of night entertainment.
