PUSHKIN MUSEUM (ПУШКИНА МУЗЕЙ)

The writer arrived in Gurzuf on 17 August 1820. Although there was only one month left, the city still remembers its stay. This is where the writer composed one of his most famous poems, The Prisoner of the Caucasus. In a letter, he said the Crimea was «the cradle of her Eugène Onegin». The house where he stayed has preserved its charm of yesteryear. The objects that certify his passage in the city are found: an office on which he worked his works, as well as Gurzuf paintings at the time. It is possible to visit the museum with a guide, which will allow you to enter the Pushkin sanatorium, which is closed to individual visits.
