GENOESE FORTRESS (КРЕПОСТЬ ГЕНУЭЗСКАЯ)

A witness left there by the Genoese in the th century, this fortress, known as the Ukrainian Chinese Wall, attracts many tourists today. Every consul who has performed his duties as an obligation to leave a book to the inhabitants as a souvenir. This was how the fortress built between 1371 and 1469. The bridge is located between the Jacopo Torcello tower (1375) and the tower Bernabò di Franci Torcello (1385). The fortress is built on a high mountain overlooking the sea.
