This little mountain not far from Koktebel is also called the Montagne Mountain in memory of the glider Petr Klementev who died here during a test on a new glider in 1924. In the 1930 s, it served as a training base for gliders. This was where the first gear tests were carried out by Russia's aviation pioneers. There is also a hang glider.
