These catacombs have a very sad history. During the Second World War, about 10 000 people, résistants and part of the population of Kerch, remained hidden for 170 days to escape the Germans who had occupied the city. Despite fierce resistance, they were all killed by Nazi soldiers. The visit is impressive: walking through narrow corridors you see the traces left by the resistance. At the foot of the Montagne mountain, the victory obelisk was erected in their memory.
To get there. We arrive here by bus n ° 4 from the bus station. Get off at the Muzei stop.
