These 432 steps at the bottom of Lenina Street lead to the foot of the Mithridates Mountains. Built in the th century by an Italian architect, this staircase became the symbol of Kerch and appeared on most postcards of the city. All around, archaeological excavations carried back the remains of the old town of Pantikapei (former Kerch). The view from the top of the staircase is absolutely magnificent.
