A Mardi gras for young and old, with downhill competition in customized sleds. Good laughs in prospect.
Tradition has it that on Mardi Gras, children sled down a hill in Laskiainen (literally, "going down"). Helsinki's engineering students, big kids, decided to perpetuate the tradition in their own way, adding their own touch of creative madness! The result: a daring downhill competition, in machine sleds of all kinds, some of which look more than a little strange! All in a good-natured, family-friendly spirit. Funny and wild, offbeat and fun: we love it (but you need snow).
