ESPLANADIN PUISTO - ESPLANADE
Espa, with its park inaugurated in 1812, is a must in Helsinki, for a walk, a drink, shopping...
In the heart of downtown Helsinki, it is impossible to miss the esplanade, simply called Espa by the Finns, inaugurated in 1812 by Johan Albrecht Ehrenström, a Finnish senator. Many statues commemorate artists such as Eino Lein (one of the largest), a poet and journalist. On the streets along the esplanade, you will find many of the establishments in this guide: restaurants, bars and shopping. It is also here that in July the Jazz Espa takes place.
