The campground is located between the ruins of the Bomarsund fortress. In 1854 the allied French and British armies attacked the Russian troops who had built a huge fortress here. Now you are welcome to this campsite, now a haven of peace with a few ruins as a backdrop in front of a beautiful bay and beach. The campsite has the café-restaurant Furulundsgarden. On site: sauna, mini golf, bike and boat hire. The journey from Mariehamn takes about 1.5 hours.
