Rauma is famous for its laces. In Pits Priia, we discover the history of lace but also of bobbin winding, mentioned since 1740 in the town of Rauma. Here, the first lace makers were men, as the know-how was imported by the town's sailors. One of the best shops in this field is certainly the Pits-Priia, specialized in the manufacture of Rauma lace, where you can still see the lacemakers at work. Not to be missed: the Lace Festival in July.
