This is where, between 1941 and 1944, Field Marshal Mannerheim (the national hero) and his close associates had their meals and traditional schnapps. The dining room has been preserved in its original style, as have the billiard room and the library, which house a collection of caricatures. This very closed club still inducts a few new members (650 in all, exclusively men) to maintain and perpetuate the work of the Marshal. If you like history, you will have a good time in this place a little out of time.
