WOLKOFF HOUSE
For four generations, the house belonged to the Wolkoff family, a wealthy Russian trading family, from 1870 to 1986. In that year, Johannes Wolkoff donated it to the city as a museum. It is one of the oldest wooden houses in the city. The house is steeped in the Orthodox religious tradition of this Russian family. Namely: it is nicely decorated for Easter and Christmas according to the Orthodox traditions, ideal to discover a little more about this culture. Souvenir shop and Wolkoff restaurant right next door.
