It was opened in 1905 and has two platforms. However, there are no RV ticket sales outlets available at the station. Car loading and luggage locker services are not available either. In terms of accessibility, there are no raised platforms or accessible train entrances. An assistance service is available at the station, located in the parking lot on the Oulu side, about 100 meters from the station building. To book the assistance service, call VR Customer Service for Accessible Travel on 0800 188 822 at least 36 hours before departure.
