Ivalo International Airport is located 9.7 kilometers southwest of downtown Ivalo. It consists of a single terminal, open daily at least 2 hours before the first flight. Cabs are available from the airport to the city center. Cabs are available in front of the arrivals hall to take travelers to and around the city center. Buses also run between the airport and downtown Ivalo. As for parking, the airport has a parking lot in front of the terminal, with spaces reserved for the disabled. Parking rates vary according to the length of the stay. The airport also offers a range of services, including a children's room, stores, a restaurant and nearby hotels.
