This 16th century house was the site of the first revolutionary upheavals and the proclamation of Independence. Its museum contains furniture, portraits and documents from that period. You will learn the history of the Florero de Llorente, a vase belonging to a rich Spanish merchant that was broken by two Creole brothers on July 20, 1810, to provoke the anger of the merchant and invite the population to rise up against the Spaniards and that marked the beginning of the independence process.
