Paleontological museum with a collection of fish fossils, presenting different prehistoric periods
The Paleontological Museum is part of the Science Faculty of the Universidad Nacional de Bogotá. It is located in El Molino de la Osada, one of the oldest wheat mills in Colombia. The museum houses a beautiful collection of fish and plant fossils, including ammonites, and presents the different prehistoric eras. Let's remember that 250 million years ago the region was under the sea. An instructive visit for both children and adults.
