Eight simple but pleasant rooms with high ceilings and open-air bathrooms in Barichara

Created by Abdou, a Frenchman with an engaging personality, Artepolis welcomes travelers in search of a lively, friendly place to stay. Originally conceived as a training center for art and culture, the house was built using traditional local techniques. In a magical setting, with a beautiful view over the valley, the 8 rooms are simple (no hot water) but pleasant, with high ceilings and open-air bathrooms. Warm welcome from Viviana on site, as well as the bakery-cafeteria "La Terraza".

Fantastic hotel, just what we love about Barichara. Unique construction with lots of wood and open sky shower in the bathroom.

No hot water and no tv!! Which we don't mine at all. This is our second stay at Artepolis and we will be coming back soon.

Excelente lugar para disfrutar de Barichara, el personal muy amable, la habitación impecable, no conocía un diseño de baño a cielo abierto y esta muy chevere. No puedo dejar de mencionar la vista que tiene a las montañas, es lindisimo.

La vue est incroyable, l'endroit est très beau et calme. Les chambres confortables et agréable. Très bie situé pour visiter les alentours. Grand plus pour les petits déjeuners de doña Marina. Les meilleurs arepas santandereanas et des tamales délicieux ! On s'est régalés chaque matin. Accueil très chaleureux et souriant. Un grand merci.
