Moncora Biopark with its trails, ideal for getting lost in the trees and enjoying the birds' songs

The main ecosystem in the vicinity of Barichara is the tropical dry forest, highly threatened by deforestation throughout Colombia (98.5% of this ecosystem has disappeared at the national level). The Moncora biopark in the heights of the village, created by the association Aquileo Parra - Amigos de Barichara, is dedicated to the recovery of this ecosystem and to the education of the conservation of this environment. There are paths where you can get lost in the trees and enjoy a moment of relaxation with the song of the birds.
