The San Lorenzo Foundation in Barichara supports the work of the natural fiber paper workshop.
The San Lorenzo de Barichara Foundation supports this workshop, which makes paper from natural fibers, using fique, a cactus with long, narrow, fleshy leaves, and pineapple. The workshop directly employs a dozen women. A 20-minute guided tour in Spanish is highly recommended. Original souvenirs in fique: notebooks, lamps, decorative animals, flowers, earrings, photo frames, etc.

vous y trouverez de nombreux objets en fique, une plante qui ressemble a l'aloevera et qui permet de fabriquer des sac par exemple qui sont bien résistant... croyez moi j'en ai un et il ne bouge pas. accueil et visite fort agréable
