TERMINAL DE CÚCUTA
Bus station

The surroundings of the bus station and the bus station itself are not safe: reelers, bolivar changers (Venezuelan currency), slot machines... Watch your belongings and beware of people who offer to buy tickets for you, as they would disappear with your money. Buses connect Pamplona ($20,000, 2 hours of travel), Bucaramanga ($40,000, 6 hours) and Bogotá ($90,000, 16 hours). There is also a link to the coast via Ocaña, but make sure you are aware of the safety conditions of this route.
