in 1621, construction of the Santa Clara convent was completed. The nuns' former canteen is now home to one of the city's finest restaurants. A romantic place, where every evening the Franciscan monks' candlelight ritual takes place, marking the transition from day to night, and soon the time to sit down to dinner! Chef Laura Fonseca offers creative cuisine inspired by the best of Latin and European gastronomy. A fine wine list. Prices are very reasonable, unimaginable in France for the setting and the quality of the cuisine.
