This great festival of literature and arts is one of the many prestigious events organized in the colonial city.

This famous international festival of literature and the arts, which originated in Wales, is now held in several other countries, including Colombia, in Cartagena de Indias, Medellín and other cities (Jérico is scheduled for 2025). Meetings, conferences, exhibitions and concerts, featuring writers, musicians, film-makers and other internationally renowned personalities, take place in various venues in these cities, many with free access. This is one of the most prestigious festivals of its kind in Latin America.
