This iconic hotel in Barranquilla, inaugurated in 1930, is considered one of the first tourist hotels in South America. It has been home to celebrities such as Greta Garbo, Grace Kelly, and Carlos Gardel. Its neoclassical republican architecture has been declared a national heritage site. The hotel has aged well and is a charming address in the heart of the Prado. The 206 rooms are well equipped and the beautiful swimming pool surrounded by imposing palm trees is a real delight. Spa, tennis, bars and restaurants complete the experience.

Lo que mas destaco de este hotel es del servicio de botones, recepción y todo el personal, se notan capacitados y con buena disposición para atender el público, contando con un buen manejo de idiomas

Lo que tienen que mejorar definitivamente es la humedad de las habitaciones, no puede ser que no se ventile/pueda abrir la ventana en ciertos momentos que el clima lo permita. Hemos dejado ropa dentro del closet y salía como si le hubiera caído rocío.
Otro punto positivo, es que prácticamente no tiene uno que salir del hotel porque tienen hasta pizzería adentro.
