Just above the famous Ouzo, where there are rarely any free tables left, El Balcón de Ouzo is a very good alternative. The Balcón de Ouzo also belongs to Mike McMurdo, a starred chef with his New York restaurant Anthos. The Balcón de Ouzo offers a pretty terrace with a nice decoration and a view of the trees of the Parque de los Novios. A pleasant and neat setting, to enjoy good pizzas over a wood fire, but above all Mediterranean dishes based on local products, served in the form of very tempting tapas. For the hungry, there are also more hearty dishes (medianos and large dishes), such as grilled octopus, or even a large seafood platter, or pork chops with guanabana, jalapeños and papas criollas icing. The flavours are excellent and the prices remain very good.
