MORGAN'S CELLAR

Site with three mini museums and a reproduction of a small pirate ship
Henry Morgan, famous English pirate of the XVIIth century, found refuge in San Andrés, after having plundered a ship leaving Panama. Morgan would have hidden his treasure in this cave. No one has yet discovered it. It would rest at the bottom of the natural swimming pool or in the deep corridors lined with corals. The site has three mini-museums (on coconut, on pirates, paintings by local artists) and a reproduction of a small pirate ship. The guided tour was not very interesting and was quickly dispatched. Expensive for what it is. A nice tourist trap!
