The MAMM hosts exhibitions in the field of modern and contemporary art by Colombian and international artists
In a modern building built on former steel warehouses, the MAMM, founded in 1978, hosts on five levels a wide variety of exhibitions of modern and contemporary art (visual arts, sculpture, painting, etc.) by Colombian and international artists, as well as quality artistic meetings. The cinema offers a great program of independent, Colombian, auteur and experimental films, sometimes with open-air screenings.

Musée proposant une exposition permanente de qualité permettant de découvrir les principaux artistes colombiens (il n'y avait pas d'expositions temporaires lors de notre visite), dans un cadre très inspirant : une architecture mêlant béton et structure métallique, à l'image de la mixité de la ville. De la terrasse on dispose d'une vue très agréable sur les quartier de Medellín.

the building is interesting with the part in bronze with many small holes representing some drawing. Inside I loved the temporary exhibition of the percussion instruments connected with the graphic equipment. It is nice ot hear that was founded thanks to local artists that decided to give arts pieces to the museum.
