BARRIO PRADO CENTRO
Neighborhood in Medellín, classified as part of the city's architectural heritage, which is undergoing a major renovation program
This neighborhood, classified as the city's architectural heritage and the object of a major renovation program for the coming years, was the former elite area of Medellín between the 1930s and 1950s. All architectural styles are mixed in this former aristocratic enclave that wanted to resemble the Prado of Barranquilla, with republican, European, Andalusian, colonial, Art Deco and even kitsch buildings. Stroll around (during the day, without valuables, the area is not very safe) and take a look at the villas and mansions.
